Scott;
I need your help in understanding a couple of things on this list.
First, under Legionairies, it reads "up to half JLS, rest HTW, Sh"-
my question is are the JLS optional or must you take at least 1
element of Legionairies as equipped with JLS. Probably a goofy
question, but I interpreted it a couple of ways. Secondly, should
it not be optional to take the Roman bolt-shooters as an attachment
to a legionary unit. Most of the OB's that I'm familiar with
indicate that the bolt-shooters were intergral with the centuries in
a cohort/legion, and then at times brigaded together. Lastly, the
list allows boats, but I see no line item for cost. Maybe that is
my unfamiliarity with Warrior coming through, but what's their
purpose, and are they free? Thanks in advance for your help.
Good luck to all at Historicon. I expect to hear some great war
stories next week.
Dave

Scott, et.al.;
The clarification states that. " A HI Roman General element is
considered a 'legionary' for all special purposes and rules."
However, since the only option for a Roman general on this list is HC,
does that mean if the general dismounts as HC, that this is when this
kicks in? Or, is there an option I'm not seeing, that allows you to
field a general as HI, HTW, Sh? Thanks in advance.

That's for when he dismounts, Dave.

Yes, the dismount rules say no part elements.
This often done by 2E HC JLS generals who dismount and then give a reg A
element to the front rank of a foot body by joining it.

Thanks, Jon. But then do you need to have another HC element
dismount, in order to gain the 1 stand of HI? That would make
