Tim, et al.
We have talked about it and yes, it is *possible* that some of the state of the
art we have developed for list rules in later books may be something that could
fit other troops in previous books. We will look into that post-Classical.
My requirement is that no list shall ever be made 'worse' once published
(excepting typo-fixing), but then again, I have always had that rule.
You can always send me proposals for which rules might apply to which troops. I
won't answer until we get to looking at them, but I will hold onto them and
consider them.
The more historically based your idea, the more likely to see daylight.

>The list writing process has been an evolving one. That couldn't
help but happen considering the time it's taken to bring the massive
project to completion (or near completion as I write this).
>And yes, as things have come up, I've often thought of how to
retroactively apply certain things to lists previously written. In
fact, some troop types in the "older" lists will be brought up to
date with how they appear in the newer lists but, until erata goes
up, don't do that:) :)
>After I take a good break from doing this (it's all I've done for
the last three years, I'm tired of this) and write up some Fantasy
Warrior lists, I'll be sitting down for a ground-up review of all
the lists from Biblical Warrior onward. Clearly this will be done
with an eye toward one list book somewhere down the road. In the
interim, I'll be putting out erata on the web site.
>Send ideas/suggestions to me OFF LIST. As Jon indicated, the
better your cite your suggestions with historical data, the better.
Keep in mind that we don't always interpret the record the way you
do:) :)
