First, for all you non-fantasy types - we do have a fantasy warrior yahoo
group and if the traffic about fanwar increases, I will move these discussions
there.

<<My first reaction is that it might be to much to add to the game. Had you
considered Mage strength? Paying more points for a stronger mage, Maybe
alowing more Magic points for army points or alowing a mage to cast from a
different spell book (with restrictions of course due to proficiency)>>

Oh yes. The one mandate, however, is that magic is not allowed to be too
much of a game-in-game. At the moment, we're all pretty pleased with the
effects of magic - subtle, yet potentially important. Warrior is already
pretty
intricate...
But, we certainly will do such a set of rules as an option down the line -
for the gamer who wants it.

Jon

Hey Jon
just a quick thought or reaction to Fanwar.
pretty excited! One thought i had ( aside of Dad's question about Hartha with a
Bombard!) refers to the strength of mages. My first reaction is that it might be
to much to add to the game. Had you considered Mage strength? Paying more points
for a stronger mage, Maybe alowing more Magic points for army points or alowing
a mage to cast from a different spell book (with restrictions of course due to
proficiency) Many rules systems alow for such things However I've noticed that
done wrong A mage takes over the battle and it loses the "battleline" type
effect that Warrior is great for! Food for thought I guess, what do you think?
