Kelly, you just mentioned this in your post. Could you please direct
me to where I could find the article?
Thanks
Cole

Wow, Cole,
that was a long damn time ago. Your guess is as good as mine. Do you live
here in the continental USA? I have free phone service or as good as anyway. I
can give you the gist if you like.

I'm not aware that I've written an article on this topic. I make reference to
it, as I recall, in my Skirmisher Doctrine article. And I've certainly written
a number of posts to this list that are the length of an article. And some of
them doubtless touch on this topic.
Give me a couple of days to catch my breath -- I've just finished a 5 day
business trip -- and I'll see if I can't post once again my thoughts on this
topic.

As I recall it was in your skirmisher article. Awesome article. Changed the way
I look at the game. Mark, you rock and I salute your efforts to bring tactical
understanding to the membership.

Me too. That was truly one of those bolts of inspiration Mark and
thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.
I'd even go so far as to say Jon ought to consider making it a sidebar
or appendix item in the rulebook as an exemplar of tactical thought.
Together with your (less influential, only in a relative sense) post
on dismounting HYWE against pikemen. Both are just wonderful in
exposing a 'way of thinking' about tactics in the game which might not
occur to the casual player - certainly didn't to me.

Great point John,
I hope FHE takes a look at this suggestion as Mark's writing is quite
enlightening and very professional.
