Here Mark has hit on my big fear: Massed attack on the hill. As
I've said in the other posts, I've anticipated people trying to hold
along the line and push a little on the hill to gain a flank. Thus
far this is what people are looking to do mainly. Now Mark shows a
big push up the hill with no commitment anywhere else with troops
that are essentially not bothered by B (I think I could get a good
shot on the LIR LC with the bow before they when down in flames).
This is where I would obviously go to plan B and shift everything to
my right in hopes of avoiding massive Swiss and let the cheap LMI
rout at will. The punch of the Italians is a worry as well, since
they can disorder my HI with LMI then hit with SHK (got to love those
guys). I have no answer there other than to try and get some LC into
the face of the SHK and get a charge out of them first. Any LMI thus
deprived will receive HK charges seconded by HI charges.

I bought the LTS guys simply because I needed some close order than
might scare mounted away, but I know they are vulnerable to
everything else. I can pull the crossbow off the rear in a pinch to
take a shot 8@2 on SHK, but they are then hanging naked in the breeze
for anything to run over. They can be bought as JLS rather than LTS,
but I think they are good at warding off anything short of SHK/SHC.

Again excellent discussion, thanks
Wanax

Wanax, Todd, Mark, Ewan and Frank

A really interesting and stimulating discussion.

To be able to study the situation for my own use I've used Wanax's
original Powerpoint slide and added the responses and comments to the
responses on following slides so I can print it all off and work
through it.
