Does anyone know of a company that manufactures 15mm equipment packs,
such as Spears, Shields etc. ? Various 25mm companies do so and I'm
hoping at least one 15mm one does.
Thanks
Les.

Tin Soldier makes weapon and shield packs in 15mm. See their website, under
Universal Soldier, for a list. The stock numbers begin with MGA, I believe.

Thanks for that Jake, the actual company is only about a 15 min drive
from where I live, but the direct URL is not working on this side of the
pond so I couldn't check the listings via the web.
I also didn't think of them, to be fair Pretty well every other
company but them.
Cheers
Les.

Les,
I happen to know that Jake Kovel can supply 15mm
bow cases as I have purchased these from him before.
Further he is very prompt in his dealings and can be
contacted at eaglewars@....
Additionally, Wargames, the Essex dealer for the
USA located in Triadelphia handles some very nice
shields. Their web page is WWW.Speartorifle.com and
they have a 800 number as well. It is 1-800-221-2011!
In the case of 15mm spears, I would suggest that
you go to your local Walmart and purchase a nylon
bristle broom and Voila! You have all of the spears
you will ever need for 15mm! Ask Darrell Smith about
it, he's the guy that got me started back in the
middle '90's! Good Luck and Good Gaming!

Thanks for the tip about the Nylon broom, hadn't thought of that, might
give it a try. Another alternative given by a friend here, is to use
dressmakers pins, flattened at one end to produce a spearpoint, but I'm
not sure I could put up with the pain when I fish the troops out of the
box, multiple acupuncture
The real need was for shields, it's what happens when you try to
resurect troops that have been badly stored for about 10 years and gone
through 3 house moves and need to be rebased. (and repainted really, but
I only have one lifetime and already own far to much bare lead, and am
still buying - get behind me Satan - far too many nice 25mm figures
about now - sigh).
Thanks again for the tip.
Cheers
Les.
