Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Question about mixed units. I noticed in F. Spanish that spearmen and bowmen
can operate in mixed units along with axmen. If I understand this correctly, I
could have a unit with front rank HCW, second rank of JLS and third rank of B?
Or have I missed some selective restriction?
