John,
I think this is a pretty solid list as you have it, and your tactical ideas
about its operation on the battlefield are on the right track. I'll offer a few
small comments; nothing major.
Consider taking one or two of the knight units (the CinC comes to mind) as
entirely Irr B. I think you'll find in the long run that the prospect of
rolling up doesn't serve you as well as the near certainty of not rolling down.
Having at least one or two such units will help fill those gaps in the line
where you don't want a unit charging off early.
Do you really need four units of Viteji? I know they are among the game's best
light cavalry, but it really seems to me like 3 units would be enough,
particularly given the Tartar contingent.
If you do shave some points somewhere, consider spending points on the
following: (a) upgrading the Tartar ally to entirely HC; (b) buying a small
unit of Voyniks (2HCT in the front, JLS in the back). The Voyniks aren't
spectacular, but they do some things well that nobody else in your army does
well.
Otherwise, I think you're in good shape. You'll learn more from actually playing
this army than you will from us kibitzing from the sidelines. Go out and roll
up!
