I went through the clarifications (and of course the rules) and I
didn't see obvious answers to these questions ... but of course
apologies in advance if I missed something.
1 - When a unit performs its rout move, it can "divert" for various
reasons under various conditions. I'm unclear how a router moves,
however - it's my understanding that it isn't a "normal" tactical
move. Does it have to wheel to "divert"? can it turn 90? Or is
it "special" in some way?
2 - A is charging enemy unit B. C charges A, and would enter A's
charge path in completing the charge, so A's charge isn't cancelled.
When it comes time to perform charge moves, are A and C
considered "mutually charging/counter-charging" and moved in a
prorated fashion? What happens if prorated movement results in C
being unable to get into legal contact with A as A charges in to B?
3 - unit A charges the flank of unit B, which is already in hth from
a previous bound with unit C. In hth combat, unit A and C lose the
combat and C is forced to recoil, and B follows up. What happens to
A, however? It doesn't "lose" - so does it just "sit there",
fighting to its front as long as it's in contact, then when it gets
left behind in another followup move next bound being out of hth
combat again and free to re-charge? Not sure how this gets
handled ...
Two other "correct me if I'm wrong" questions:
- am I correct in pretty much assuming that whoever wins the first
round of chariot vs chariot combat is going to win ultimately, as
only the winner (who will follow-up) gets to bring the horses into
play on subsequent bounds? this seems to be particularly true of 3-
and 4-horse chariots ..
- I see lots of lists with 1 element of morale grade x and the rest
being elements of grade x-1. Is there a chance this is going to be
discouraged in the future? I'm not clear on how this
*isn't* "gamey" ...
Thanks in advance!

It is special in that it makes a 180 degree turn for free. Otherwise it
makes a 'normal' move.

Yes.
<< What happens if prorated movement results in C

I'd have to see a picture.
<<3 - unit A charges the flank of unit B, which is already in hth from

I assume this means B still did more HTH casualties than it took from A and
C. Yes, A would just 'sit there'.
<<fighting to its front as long as it's in contact, then when it gets

That I would need to see a picture of.

Not a bad assumption.

It will not be discouraged and is not gamey. In fact, it allows us to offer
a wide variety of effects mechanically. For example, a unit of half Irr B
and half Irr C is used to represent troops who charged more reliably than C's
but were more brittle when things went bad than B's.
