PostPosted: Fri Jan 18, 2002 6:11 pm    Post subject: MW Army List booklets & 1066

This afternoon, I will be having the new Medieval Warfare army list booklets
printed. There are now two booklets instead of the four initially planned. I
opted to consolidate the Dark Ages and Feudal Ages into one large, 90+ page
booklet and likewise the Age of Chivalry and the Later Middle Ages. I know many
of you have been awaiting these last two! With only two army list booklets
instead of four, it makes it easier to keep track of them, at least for me. Less
things to misplace or lose.

The new booklets are complete with full color cover and an introduction to each
of the four sections as well as a brief (and some not-to-brief!) article on each
of the 100+ armies, the army lists and rules notes.

For those of you with the older army lists, I will be putting together an update
of the tweaks and changes so you will be able to keep up to date. There are a
number of these as our rules group members (380 of them) and SAGA subscribers
are quite adept at spotting anomalies and letting me know about them.

In any event, I will have these back from the print shop next Wednesday and will
be shipping them out to the shops and rules group members as well as others who
have put in advanced orders. They will sell for $25.00 each postage paid. I will
then start on the 1066 booklet. We are doing a photo shoot in a week or so to
give a visual look with miniatures to the battles of Fulford Gate, Stamford
Bridge and Hastings. Besides the Medieval Warfare battle scenarios, DBA will
also be included. I have also gotten permission from Norman Wood to include his
WHAB orders of battle. It will be fairly easy for players of Warrior to adapt
the MW battles as well. This allows the booklet to be more attractive to players
of these other rules systems.

As always, if anyone has any questions about SAGA Publishing or any of our rules
systems, email me and I'll get back to you that day.

Terry
