Actually, I like stratagems also - I regret that I have not yet had
occasion to use a dummy elephant (and even more that were I to do so,
everyone would know it was a dummy!). I just think that the fire
arrows' effect on troops (as opposed to use against TFs, as you note),
is perhaps a little too dramatic. Unless I'm simply not aware of
the massive evidence for widespread use of incendiaries against
cavalry? :)
