Hey Guys;

Wanted to de-lurk momentarily and introduce myself. I started gaming
ancients with WRG 5th, and really enjoyed that experience through
7th. I am happy to see 'The Four Horsemen' resurrect and clarify
7th. I have played other rules systems most recently including
Armati and lately Warhammer Ancients. In both cases, it's
interesting to hear the older players refer to troops as Heavy
Infantry, or Light Medium Infantry, Super Heavy Cavalry, etc. Both
Armati and WHAB, although having their strengths, leave me yearning
for 'the good ole' days of WRG. Never could get into DBM, so I'm
glad to see this one coming down the pike. Where can I get a copy of
the rules and army lists if they are out, and if not, when will they
be released?

Dave

P.S. If I may be somewhat presumptious, Scott's comments on the Late
Roman Infantry classed as Reg. D should be carefully examined. I
think most documented battles shows that when well led the Legio's
were very formidable. In fact, it was the cavalry arm that often
times acted as Reg. D troops would.
