For all you folks who live in the independent republic of Texas, there's a new
big gun in town, Sean Scott.

I'm processing change of address stuff for the HMGS East newsletter and lo and
behold, good ole Sean has apparently moved to Houston.

I don't want to list his addy here in public but if Harlan wants to contact me
off-list, I can give you his addy. I don't have a phone number but perhaps you
can pull that from information.

Sean plays both scales with a noted fondness for Italian Condotta.

Sean, if you're reading this, let us know whazzup.

scott

This is great news.

Houston used to be a bastion of TOG, but most of the players switched
to DBM when that was going strong. Fortunately, there is a strong
core of Warrior players in San Antonio and it's an easy trip between
the cities (2.5 to 3 hours). We play weekly on Monday evening (which
might be difficult to make), and get together once a month to play
all day Saturday, with food, beer, etc ... People that come from out
of town can flop at one of our homes.

There is a good group in Dallas, about the same size as the San
Antonio offering. This is a bit harder a drive from Houston, but they
are all good guys, so it's worth the trip.

It might be short notice, but we are having a tournament in San
Antonio on the 6th and 7th of December. 1600 pts, 15mm, etc ... It's
looking pretty small right now being so close to Christmas, but I'm
sure we will have a great time.

Lastly, an Italian Condotta player would fit right in down here in
San Antonio, as we are just about all knight army players.

Welcome to Texas, and please feel free to drop me line.
