Hi all. I'm a newcomer to Warrior, and after lurking for a while and
studying the rules and various errata, I still had a couple of
questions to ask:

1.) A unit of Reg Knights start the bound as steady and mounted. As
such, they may perform 2 maneuvers and still move 40paces.

During the Approach phase, I elect (in the following order) to:
A.) Dismount (immediately disordering the knights with cessation-
cured cause of disorder)

B.) Now as EHI, for my second maneuver (having started the approach
phase as steady regulars), I elect to have the infantry go into
Orb/Scots Schiltron.

My questions regarding this situation is:

a.) Does dismounting (and thus becoming disordered) immediately
prevent me from doing a 2nd maneuver that phase?

b.) Does going into Orb count as "MOVEMENT"? I.e., when would this
unit of EHI rally from Disordered to Steady - at the End Phase of the
current Bound (cessation-cured disorder, unit did NOT mover 40p), or
at the End Phase of the NEXT bound (maneuver/formation change counts
as movement and thus unit not eligible to rally this turn)?

--------------

2.) A unit of front rank shielded/back rank unshielded troops have
advanced and become surprised by an ambushing enemy missile unit
emerging on it's left/shield flank from out of some woods. The enemy
missile unit elects to fire during the Prep. Shooting phase

question: Does the enemy missile unit get to count the "Shieldless"
factor?

The front rank has shields, and thus would normally be shielded.
However the back rank does NOT have shields and is ALSO in the
immediate front fire arc of the firing unit.

--------------------

That's it for now. Thanks much in advance for help.
-Asif Chaudhry

Yes.

Current Bound.

And that is why.
