Go to:

and peruse the updated WARRIOR NICT qualifiers. If I've missed somebody or some
tourney, please let me know.

The NICT invitee list has been updated. Jevon Garrett received a Regional
Coordinator's invitation so I'm assuming he'll be there with the mighty Berbers,
assuming he gets em painted in time:) :)
This week I'll be trying out the new Aztecs against godknowswhat run by Darrell
(most likely Dark Age trash but who knows). Do we have some vague head count of
TwisterCon attendees? I know Jon's going down with 3 people and I'll be there.
Hopefully we'll have enough NASAMW members to qualify somebody else. I'm
bringing plenty of human sacrifice figures to ensure good die rolls.

I am going to TwisterCon with two other people and they are only playing Warrior
friday night, not saturday.
Scott, I need a 25mm fast army for Todd that weekend.

Some of you are getting this in duplicate. I'm trying to send it to individuals
as well as the warrior group.
I have not recieved RSVPs from the following folks:
Todd Kaeser
Matt Kollmer
Mike Kelly
Tim Brown
Greg Regets
Jamie White
Charles Randow
Bill Low
Derek Downs
Jevon Garrett
Rich Kroupa
Ambrose Coddington
Dan Woyke
Ewan McNay (needs lead which is why I haven't "technically" heard from him)
Please spread the word. I'll be snail mailing invites to some of the above
folks since I'm not sure if Matt, Jamie, Jevon, Rich, Ambrose and Dan are
getting this email.
We have a new invitee, Ted Furey and our official "floater", Eric Turner.
Everybody else from the invite list has replied in one form or another. Thus,
as of right now, we have 18 people attending and that number will grow. This
promises to be WARRIOR's larget NICT in a number of years! And that's a good
thing.
Folks are encouraged to contact Ewan should you want to loan him an army. Loan
him Vikings:) :)
Scott

If you're friends with the following people, tell em to send me lists or tell me
they're not participating in the NICT:
Phil Gardocki
Jevon Garrett
Both gentlemen had previously indicated they'd be playing but I've heard nothing
since.
The lineup is almost done. I have a couple of lists *still* drifting in from
folks borrowing lead to play or who I had some questions regarding their list.
Phil, Jevon, please contact me ASAP.
Thanks,
Scott

I've updated my site. The NASAMW site will be updated in due course.
Go to:
http://www.dauphinehotel.com/nict99.htm
for the latest listing.
Note the asterisk next to John Garlic. That's because he was mistakenly
extended an invite even though he placed 3rd in a 10 player tourney. My
practice for the last 15 years or so is to extend bids to those who finish in
the top 15-20% (usually rounding more down than up in this range), so in the
case of the tourney John participated in, the top 2 players would get invites.
I can't help it they were already qualified:) :)
John will be #1 on my "potential open invite list".
Sorry for the delay in this. I apologize for the confusion. If you run a
tourney, please don't "invite" folks. Simply send the info to me and I'll take
it from there.
Invites are based on the number of NASAMW members playing (1:6) in terms of the
max number of folks who qualify, then we go to the 15-20% bit. For instance,
last year at the NICT, we had 30 players. Six made the cut and the top 5
qualified for this year's NICT. Heh heh, that gave some incentive for everybody
in the cut to do well. That represented the top 20% of the participants.

Hi All,
If I didn't make the cut, I'm cool with that. Don't actually have anyone who
stands over 15mm tall anyways (yet). I may be up in area though since my Mom
lives in Harrisburg. Just hafta see. Will work on legit qualification
another time. Santa Con was still a real blast. BTW, really enjoying all the
talk
of lists. Like Russ myself, but am thinking of eventually building a knight
army. All the discussion of tactics makes me wonder about HCh, or are they
passe now.

That was our mistake Scott, not yours. We thought it was the top few
people that were not already on the invite list.
We Texan's mess up everthing. We can't even keep Janet Jackson's
cloths on at football games. ;-)

It wasn't a Texan who took her clothes off.
But it was a player from a Massachusetts team who grabbed a naked man and took
him to the ground...
