I have been in email communications with Phil Barker lately talking
about another rules set that is currently in massive revision (I know
Phil revising his rules completely is unheard of). Well, in a
discussion about the dynamic between what we would call MI LTS/sh and
HC or HK L/sh most of my examples from hisorical sources are best
modeled by Warrior and I told him so.

As an example, if a line of spearmen wavers from such a mounted
attack and runs, history shows the mounted tend to pursue
disreguarding their own danger which is great. This effect can even
be seen as late as the 19th century. As the troop type I've played
most, my experience shows that Warrior certainly shows this effect.
The oposite deal with spearmen who remain steady and accept the
charge. Usually this sees the mounted attacker off, and again
Warrior provides this effect.

This is not to "bash" any set of rules, for they are all fun in their
own right. I just thought I'd share how in these interactions
Warrior better simulates historical models.
