I just subscribed to this forum. I used to play seventh edition but
with the change over to DBA/DBM I lost interest in wargaming.I hate
DBM, I think it is a boardgame with miniantures. So with lack of
oponents I haven't played a game in years. It is also quite
interesting to see that when you talk to a lot of older gamers that
that they admit they only play DBM cause everybody else does. I have
several armies an Early Gothis Vandal, Sassanid Persian, late
Imeperial Roman. Also several unpainted ones such as Mycean Greek,
New Kingdom Egyptian, and Norman Cicilian. And the varoius ods and
sods soem huns Armenians etc.
Anyway, when I discovered the Warrior rules I was chuffed as punch.
Though I must admit circumstances prevented me from buying a copy
yet, but I'm sure going to do that in the next two months. The only
thing I want to know is that it appears that warrior is quite big in
the US but how about Europe is it picking up in Europe aswell ?
Anyway I would like to thank FHE in their effort to keep these
Smashing rules alive.
