In a game this weekend I ended up with unreliable general who rolled a one
and thus had his orders changed to "wait". I have two main questions. The C&C
became aware that the sub was not following his orders on bound one since I had
force marched an LI unit to the middle of the table and I was unable to then
move past the middle of the table. Under 4.43 (last paragraph) "he (the C&C) may
issue new oders on the SECOND subsequent bound". Thus I could issue new orders
to the sub during the orders phase of bound three....correct?
On bound three the general sends new orders to the Sub. For the sake of
argument let's say it takes 8 minutes. When is the sub allowed to relay the
orders...on bound three or bound 4? Under 4.42 it says "...subordinate or ally
general that recieved an order change does not subtract the amount of 'time' it
took to receive the order from the C&C". This seems to imply that the order
could be relayed by the Sub on bound three, but it is not clear to me. Thanks!

P.S. I forgot to mention that all of this was a moot point in this particular
game. My general sent the new orders and the sub misinterpreted them
again....and stayed on wait ;)

a) Bound three, correct.
b) A sub or ally retransmits an order received from the CINC on the same bound.
The sub/ally's minutes are brand new minutes and have nothing to do with how
many the CINC spent getting the order to them.
