In your reply regarding Lance armed troops on probe not being able to charge
LTS/Pike, you implied that HOLD, WAIT and DELAY can only be used on your half of
the table. Whether under 7th or Warrior, I have often changed my orders from
ATTACK or PROBE to one of the others after a unit/command has crossed the Centre
Line.
For example, if I want to occupy a wood/hills other terrain feature that is on
the opponents side of the table then I change the commands orders to hold/delay
as appropriate. I don't believe there is any compunction to re-cross the centre
line if there is a change in orders.
Could you please confirm this for me or leave my current strategy for Byzantine
lance armed cav in complete tatters.
