A couple of us here on the West Coast were speculating about what army
possibilities might be interesting once Oriential Warrior is finally out.
Several of us have Mongol, Samurai, or Chinese armies that have just been
gathering dust.
As we dust these off, we're no doubt going to find we need additional figures to
fit the "new world" that Oriental Warrior lists present. So: where to get
figures?
I'm really stingy when it comes to paying for lead, and I'm not a good enough
painter to make the most of a finely sculpted figure. My regular source for the
last several years has been Old Glory: varied poses, adequate detail on the
sculpting, and bargain prices. But Old Glory doesn't have a particularly good
selection of Oriental types, unless you're interested in Mongol or Han Chinese.
Admittedly, some of us are, but....
What if you want some kind of Chinese figures in 25mm other than Han?
What if you want Japanese in 25mm?
What if you want a more off-beat army in 25mm, like Khmer or Champa?
Any suggestions for where one might get these at something approximating Old
Glory prices?
