After a quick inventory of my unpainted stock, I've decided I will
most likely need to live to be 157 years old in order to paint
everything myself . Therefore, I'm considering making some lucky
painter a virtual dependent of mine for the forseeable future. Guys -
who do I use for a high quality job, decent turn around, and earthly
price? I've seen outstanding work via the Warhammer type painters,
but $10 a man is beyond my means for 350 figs and their attention
span lasts about a dozen minis. I'm leery of sending stuff overseas
unless anyone has experienced the quality personally, i.e. from that
Fernando guy from Sri Lanka. So...I'm betting someone out there knows
and I can't be the only guy here with literally a ton of lead to be
painted. Thanks...and all you mass painters feel free to contact me
directly.

Tim - I've used Old Guard Painters in the Ukraine. I've had two 15mm
armies painted by them (Viking and Sassanid Persian). Exceptional
detail - even painted eyes on the 15mm's - and highly individualized
figures with a very reasonable turn-around time. Their website is
http://www.oldguardpainters.com/. They also packed the figures very
well.

They paint whatever figures you send them. The cost is determined by the level
of quality you want. The lowest one they do is outstanding. I can't imagine how
great the upper level is. They may offer some other services now it has been a
couple years since I had any done.

Hello All!
How do you determine and handle which figs they will use? And how does it
affect price?
Thanks!

I am having trouble contacting these people (Old Gaurd Painters) via E-mail. I
have sent four messages in the past two weeks, with no reply. Can anybody advise
me if there is a problem; ie. change of electronic address, or same - or of
another way to get in contact with them; ie. through the U.S. agent on their
web-site, or via post/telephone to them direct?
Thanks,
Jeff TILLITZKI (Australia)
