Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Dear friends,

Anyone have any experience or recommendations regarding reasonably
cost-effective painting services for 15mms? (I'd like to have some
smart-looking 25s or 28s once I settle on a favorite army (yes, I've
seen some of the nice work people have done) but not ready for that
yet.)

In particular, the offshore services with pages online look good for
the price, but I have also heard rumors they need to be micromanaged
(something about purple coats), and that concerns me when dealing
with irregular types which should reflect some variety rather than
an exact uniform.
