I would like to publicly thank Kelly Wilkinson for helping me to get
into Warrior. Thru his own pocketbook he made sure I had a Rulebook,
dice, copy of Holy Warrior and figures. He has also taken time to
come to Springfield, MO to play several games of Warrior to make sure
I was able to learn the ruleset. I'm now trying to get some gamers
in Springfield into the game.
I met Kelly in Oct of 2001 helping minority kids from his school (he
is a teacher) to experience wargaming and in so doing opening up
these kids views of the world and its possibilities that it holds for
them. Kelly puts his money where his mouths was. He was paying the
kids way into the gaming weekend and providing figures and gaming
materials for them. In so doing, Kelly represents the best of us in
his actions.
My thoughts.
Your friend,
Jack Young (CaptainJack)
