To the Group,
Not sure if Jon posted anything, but he had to go to Germany for a
week(+). I highly doubt he will have much time to answer questions
during that time. I also know from past experience he would prefer
you hold the question as opposed to putting the question out and
having it answered "possibly?" incorrectly, which would only add to
his workload.
To some who don't realize it he is a Military Intelligence LTC, and
we are pretty busy here in the Army these days, (just a reminder to
those who expect there answers immediately).

LOL! Mike!

"Military Intelligence" Certainly is an Oxymoron! I bet Jon took his laptop
with him! Knowing how most with that rank are squared away, and knowing jon like
I do, I'm sure he uses one for a tool, he will not be far from the internet.
Warrior is a diversion from his real job most likely as I'm sure he is a problem
solver of above average importance. He will be watching be assured of that!

Hate to burst your bubble Kelly,
Jon didn't take his laptop (yes I know he answered an e-mail, but he
borrowed someones to do that.)
Taking laptops overseas, particularly Europe, is NOT a lot of fun.
The units he is supporting are providing computer time, but that
isn't a lot of time to do personal stuff.
We of that rank don't need input, cracks about our brother branches,
or snowjobs,
VR,
Mike

Don't worry Mike,
No bubbles burst here. I was merely stating the fact that Jon would have
access to the world wide web. Whether a person's job is fun or not is certainly
up to them. I made no comment regarding that. And snowjobs? Mike, is that your
job? Because I certainly don't see where that crack has anything to do with me
commenting that jon would be monitoring this forum. We've all heard folks joke
one time or another about "Military Intellegence" being an oxymoron. Since you
mistook my intent, let me explain it more clearly. Often the Military, being the
largest beauracracy in the country does things that defy intellegent behavior.
Many of us who have served for the armed forces of our country or those that
work in the civillian sector have seen this close up. This comment I made
doesn't slam a specific branch, it slams the MILITARY in general. No branch
crack here, I'm slamming the whole enchilada!
On a miniatures topic, how are you doing on building your Early Byzantines?
I seem to remember at the last "Call to Arms", that you enjoyed playing that
army and were going to build one. Mine are coming slow as I am being pulled to
paint even more Arabs than I can shake a stick at! These new lists have given
rise a need for more troops! What figure manufacturer did you decide to use for
your 15's? I am starting to come around to realizing that Old Glory seems to
paint up quite nicely. Recently bought about 5 or so bags from Phil's Table Top
Games. It is good to see that Warrior has caused Phil to increase his supply of
15mm. I'm sure that the 25mm stuff is still propelled by Warhammer but it is
only a matter of time before you guys convert those guys over to the realization
that Warrior is a better game. I wish you luck in you crusade.
Good gaming,
Kelly
