Hi gang.

Just some things to clear up a bunch of recent stuff.

1. Don't ask me rules questions on my personal email, thanks. That's what this
egroup is for.

2. I did not invent the underlying game engine used in Warrior. That honor
belongs to Phil. But I am the author of the Warrior rules and accept
responsibility for anything and everything that's wrong with them.

3. It is true that I have said I don't care how it was in 7th Ed. But many of
you continue to care. So when I get a mail that claims "it wasn't this way" or
asks "why did you change it??" I am often forced to point out where Warrior is
using something that appeared in 7th even if this means publicly demonstrating
that one of you had 7th wrong for 20 years....lol You bring it up at your own
risk... :)

4. Please, please, please ask rules questions ONLY after you have checked the
rules and the clarifications. I wasn't joking in my answer to Fred's mail - if
you say "hey, I don't have my rules with me, but..." that mail will go
unanswered by me. If you make an honest effort to find it in both places and do
not, I will be happy to help. But help me help you get this new rulebook on the
shelf...

5. Please do not include anything but rules questions in your mail. If it also
has historical questions or why questions or theoretical discussions, it will
now go unanswered. I'm sorry to be so harsh, but I have asked in the past more
than once.

I read every mail here (and a number of other fora) but I do not have the
ability or desire to respond to every mail. I do have the duty to respond to
every rules question. But if you can't help me by keeping rules questions in
mails by themselves on this yahoo group, then I can't be troubled to spend the
time dissecting them.

Irr D Elephants Rule!

Jon
