Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Ok, I thought I could be done with this, but apparently not.

Fact: the person in question uses racial slurs for black persons. I have
heard it, others have heard it. It has occured in the presence of his
students.

Fact: there are eight current and former Warrior players in the KC area who
will not attend an event this person also attends. This is due to his
disruptive behavior and his known bigotry.

Fact: this person is not permitted to enter Tabletop Game and Hobby, a local
game store, also due to disruptive behavior and bigotry. And I might add
that the owner is about the nicest, most get-along guy that I know. I have
heard there is another such store, but I cannot prove that.

Fact: after warning him to stop discussing a particular non-ancients related
thread he got one of his friends to write a long, slanderous and threatening
email to my personal address. I have had, for the first time in my life, to
block email addresses from reaching my account.

This is not an isolated incident, but a pattern of behavior. And I simply
won't allow it where I can influence it. I don't hate the guy - quite the
opposite. Everyone here in KC knows I tried harder and longer than anyone to
help him get along in the gamer community here, but gave up the night he
showed up at my house, when I was not present and against my strict
instructions, and badgered my wife. Even I have limits.

This discussion is over, guys. I am not going to waste all of our time by
getting into a legalese back and forth. He has not been banned from the
group and I will only do it if he continues to place attacks on other Warrior
players or FHE in his mails. I have collected six such already - not just
the one that 'started' this thread. I have been more than patient - I am on
groups where you are gone after the first such incident.

And one more thing. This list is NOT a democracy. I do this extremely
time-consuming task, entirely of my own volition, for the greater good of the
Warrior community, not for the perceived 'rights' of any single individual.
That I do in my real job.

Again, this is to be the last message in this 'thread' - let's get back to
ancients.

Jon,
Stop! I have been in this hobby well over 10 years. And during that
time, from my perspective, I can say that your reputation and
character are genuine and beyond question.

Now, I don't know this Francis fellow and from his message it looks
like he doesn't know you too well either, or doesn't care too.

Suffice it to say that you need not go any further on this subject.
Those of us who have been here the longest have already considered
the source and have moved on.

I, for one, consider the issue resolved and look forward to many a
Warrior-con. I was at Historicon (GO FEUDAL FRENCH!) and can say
that out of all the conventions I have attended, this was one of the
smoothest and most enjoyable.

Of course, I haven't attented a Con in Kansas either. :-)
