Jon,

Why is it that eager trained cavalry units require a general to
charge impetuously? From a designers point of view I was wondering
if you could explain why WRG/Phil Barker felt that trained cavalry
can't charge as hard as it's untrained cousins?

PS I am weary of the whole argument about table size and thought I
would try to bring up a new topic of discussion. Besides, I find it
inciteful and helpful to understand design philosophy so I can
better explain the reason things are to noobs I introduce to the
system.
