Jake,

Do you think you could get Ed to share his list he used for his Timurid
army with this list? Timurids are a most fascinating list with many ways of
working them. It would appear Ed did quite well with them against some very fine
opponents.

Matt K - I'd be interested to see how you took your list.

-hey Jon
well this is the list inna nutshell:
CinC W/1E Equites Hc JLS
Sub W/ 1E Equites HC JLS
2E Cataphractarii HC L SH
2x 2E Sagitarii LC B SH
3x 4E Legion
2x 2E legion R/B
2x 4E Auxilia (1unit 1/2 S)
2E Auxilia w/ S
4E Auxilia Bow
2x 4E Moorish LC JLS Sh
2x 4E Numerii LI B R/C
2 L. shooters on carts

The list seemed to work if I got the right terrain.
Alot of steep hills and forced marched carts on them!
Unfortunatly I felt outmaned alot except against the Late Patrician
Romans who according to the million posts had similar issues!
I used the roman infantry rules to the max and most anything good
came from those situations. that and charging generals impetuous
into death defying odds, worked more than not however.
I'd be interested (as Peter was)in comments/"criticism" (I guess!Wink)
from the field........Ewan?
