This is an advertisement to sell Roman Figures. Please respond off line.

Because of the upcoming Roman theme I thought this ad would be fair game to
send, and I will not do so again.
I have inherited the figure collection of Lt. Col. Tony Sherman, who died in
the middle east last summer. I feel more than a little guilty receiving this
largesse and wish to sell much of it off and donate the proceeds to the Lisa
and Grant, Widow and Orphan fund.

I am saying this to elicit some sympathy and minimize haggling.

What do I have?
All 15 mm
8,800 points worth of Romans, over 400 legionaries, and all the support
troops. Not many mercenaries though.
Over 2000 points of Macedonians.
Some Mongols and Chinese, probably over 1500 points.
Some Rev or Nepolinaic war figures, some 200 foot, 28 horse, 12 cannon.
Quality is good overall. Tony was not a good painter, but many pieces were
bought.
$1 per foot, $1.50 per cav.
I can ship, or have them waiting for you at Historicon. I live only 1 hour
from the Host, so it would take an act of God to keep me away.
I will entertain offers on a first come basis.

Thanks for listening,
Sorry Jon for the abuse of your website.
(at least it is not insurance)

This is not an abuse at all. I have no problem with folks making initial
contact on buying and selling historical ancient and medieval figs here on this
group. All I ask is that the haggling and discussion takes place offline.

And in this case, anything this egroup can do for Lisa and Grant is 110% ok
with me.

Jon

Perhaps you have the makings of NASAMW Core loaner armies for Demo
Games?
