You are correct, it ought to say that. And in the next clarification update,
6.11 will be corrected.

We have no evidence that it will make the legions 'unstoppable'. Could you
please support this claim with facts? Otherwise you are just scaring the
children....

A query and a comment.

The query - tac move distances for mounted over obstacles - rule
6.11 seems to contradict the summary card. Rule on page 32
says 'mounted troops across very rough terrain move 40p', card
says 'others crossing delaying terrain move 40p'. 6.713 says a tac
move crossing an obstacle is reduced. Looks to me as if rule 6.11
ought to say 'mounted troops across very rough terrain or obstacles
40p'. And either rule 6.11 needs to match the card or the card
needs to match the rule.

And the comment: just had a browse of the list after less than two
weeks away. Awesome ! Some really useful debates. Loved all the
too and fro about Romans. This kind of stuff was what I was getting
to when I put up my post about marian legions fighting in 2 element
cohorts a few weeks back.

And on that tack, a friend and old-time player of TOG made this
comment while drooling over my copy of Warrior (yes, he is going to
order a copy, as soon as I've scraped together the money for Dark
Age Warrior and we can pool the postage to Australia) ... the FW
list rule for legionaries (rank replacement) will make them so
powerful the list will have to make players use 2 element cohorts or
the legions will be unstoppable. Thought I'd share that one with
all of you who've hotly debated matters Roman recently.
