Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Thanks for the positive responses to my post about rules writing styles. I noticed a comment that rules written in this rigorous style would be too long to publish.  That doesn't surprise me but it's a shame.
Some (maybe most) of my interpretations about recall that I "codified" in my rewrites are just that and should not reflect badly on the real authors .  It was written by way of  a comment on syntax and style and does not reflect my opinions or the authors as to content.  The fact that I appear to have gottent the recall rules totally wrong  does make the point though. There is room for misunderstanding. I think the standard for a set of rules should be that I can by a set in Wells Nevada, find a friend, read the rules, and play a game with the same mechanics that would be used if I were sitting down across from the author. In other words, I should be able to play correctly just by reading, there should be no  "well that's obvious" or "use common sense", because come tournament time there isn't any. We are a competitive group and even in the normal course of events, what makes sense in one situation may not in another. I have seen some "interps" lead to some really strange outcomes later in the same game. If I have time to write more, I will endeavor to do so if the authors feel it might be useful. I would pay more attention (obviously) to writing the rules to embody the author's intent. It would not hurt my feelings to see any or all of what I write discarded, that is part of the process.  I am new to this group as an active participant however and must confess that there is much about the fundamentals of the 7th ed./Warrior system I do not like. It is however the best thing out there (at least until I publish MY set!!! .  I really question the issues of morale and training. I believe that their impact is underrated in favor of weapons/armor effect.
