Well, what can I say. I was bored that week and asked
if I could do anything for you... 8-)

Anyways, I encourage every Warrior player to please
take a look at it.
I spent a lot of time on it, as did Jon.

Don Coon and Mark Stone were invaluable in their
comments, Don gave up a couple of vacation days to
poke it full of holes.

This was a team effort, and I appreciate everyone's
help on it.

The one good thing that did come out of it (other than
I looked really busy at work when I was doing it) was
that it forced me to go back an re-read many of the
rules, and pay attention to all the little details
that make Warrior what it is. I don't think there's
any coincedence in that after I did this sample Battle
back in December, and was refining it through January
that I participated in a local Warrior Tournament and
placed Second. That was the first game I played
against Jon C (In the finals no less) where I've seen
him truly sweat in a game against me. Either that or
he was sitting under a heat vent, I am going with the
former myself...draw your own conclusions 8-)

Anyways, look it over, please lt me know of any
errors, because I will be updating it after 2nd
edition comes out I think.

Thanks,
Todd

Todd Schneider has created something truly amazing - a
complete
sample game of Warrior - a Fast Warrior game between
Early Imperial
Romans and Early Germans - in powerpoint.

I have uploaded it to the files section - a monster at
3 meg, so not
for the faint of bandwidth. But a truly helpful
package for
bringing on new players...

Thanks Todd - you da man.

Todd,

What happened? Now there is only a 44k Word doc with a rules question
(?) and no 1Meg ppt file with the whole game. It is a shame I missed
that one it sounded very interesting.

John,

The file is called Sample Game 1.ppt and it's about
2/3rd of the way down.
