Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

I just wanted to let everyone know how excellent every tournament is in Texas!
No matter which venue I attend, the Southwest Region of NASAMW has among the
best competition Warrior gamers in the country. But not only that, but the
hospitality is without question number one. I want to thank Harlan Garrett for
putting on the tournament, Dave and Robin Beeson for hosting and scrumptious
eats, and lastly I want to thank my host, Greg Regets and his lovely wife,
Joanie (who incidentally owns and operates a killer gaming store called Dibbles)
for letting me stay with them during the weekend! Further it was great to see
old friends like Johnny Garlic (hadn't seen him in 12 years) and Bill "The Greek
Kid" Chris! Also it was fun seeing new aquaintances.

Something that you rarely hear from me on this list is praise for Jon Cleaves. I
want Jon to know that each time I opened the rule book that I had to thank him
for indexing the rules so well that it took very little time to find the answers
to various questions. Once again, thanks Jon and everyone involved with the
making of this fine set of rules. It's these excellent rules that give friends
the excuse to become reaquainted at tournaments!

I just want to let those of you in the East and my cohorts here in the Mid-West
to know that you are really missing out by not checking out this region's
tournaments! Thanks again NASAMW Southwest for another EXCELLENT tournament!

Thank you for the compliments Kelly. It is easy to host a good tournament
when you have a bunch of great gamers.

things got a lot busy down in 1st CAV Land

perhaps I will get some time before I go away for a hotel sand tour
