Greetings Gentle people of Warrior,

I have a question surrounding the new Imperial Warrior List #27
Sassanid Persian.
Can one of the Four Horsemen tell what happened to the Daylami
infantry that are supposed to be in this list? The reason I know
that this troop type is missing is because List #15 Arab Conquest
gets a troop type called "Ex-Sassanid Dailami. To non-Sassanid-
philes this is no big deal. But I happen to own the army and can't
understand why this troop type was left out. The only possible
reason I can come up with is that it must be an honest mistake by
the printer or FHE editors. Can anyone shed some light on this? Do
the Sassanids get these troops?

I would like to correct my statement in that the Arab Conquest is from Dark Age
Warrior. The thing is that I'm surprised that the Dailami did not make the cut
as well as the Sassanid elephant escorts from Craig Scott's original list. I was
just wondering why this was?

Kelly, Ford discontinued the Escort about two years ago, and the
Dailami as been in exile for some ten years. ;)

It is a pretty good question though. If the Arabs get EX-Sassanid
Daylami, it would see to make since that a Sassanid army would too.
Interesting. Wonder what the scoop on that is?

We'll all find out in a couple of days.
Scotsds in Pennsylvania, and the guy who wrote the
list is in Pennsylvania as well, so Scott should have
the answer next week.
