Surely if you wanted to run Scipio Africanus' army you would be
running Polybians? If I recall correctly Marians start c. 107BC
almost a century after Africanus flourished and 25 years or so after
his descendant took Numantia.

This would be true if it weren't for the lack of a polybian list to
run! I think I can build his army from Marian and have similar
effect. Just won't have LTS armed guys getting me into trouble ;)

The Marian list has about the right mix of troops to recreate his
army, IMO, except of course there will be no Triarii. just as well.
The key will be, I think the LC, legionare combination.

Thanks for noticing however. :)
