Jon,

Will you clarify the rule on the number of lowlanders that can
fight? The list says both ranks fight all the time. That was not the
case in our game. Although it probably would not have made any
difference in the outcome of our game, I'm still very curious as the
Scots Common list has some intrigueing options.

The list actually says "*Pike count only two ranks. Use LTS rules to
determine rank eligibility for combat." It does NOT say both ranks
fight all the time. It says they fight under the same rules as LTS
for ranks. The 'pike count only two ranks' means they never count
the 3d and 4th, but the next sentence in that rule makes it quite
clear that the LTS rules are used for rank eligibility.

This is the same answer Scott and I gave you at the con. I know I
gave it three times. If you are looking for a different answer, I
cannot help you. I am not into continually pressing the elevator
button...lol

I know this makes them worse than plain LTS in some cases, but the
eventual 'fix' for that, if any, will be determined by Scott. Please
direct questions about the future of these guys to him.

Jon
