I guess I have been asked to loan an army for Nashcon. I loan armies all the
time, but only in 15mm and never by shipping them somewhere. I only have two
25mm armies - Han and Med Spanish/Sicilian and I painted them both. I have
dozens of 15mm armies, many I did not paint to use as loaners to new guys. But
not to be placed in a box and shipped.
If someone is going to a con like Nashcon and wants to borrow 15mm, they are
more than welcome to stop by and pick them up and bring them back. As Nashcon
looks to be 25mm, I cannot help.

Gentlemen,
I would be interested in supporting the small contingent of
gamers at NASHCON who are going to be pushing a revival of sorts of
a "Warrior" presence there. I was wondering if either of you two
gentlemen would be interested in loaning out a 25mm army or two for
the effort? If so, I would be most grateful. I understand that most
would not wish to have their lead travelling across the country but
I have a hook. Whichever of you responds first with an offer will
receive a painted unit of Trapezatoi (essex25mm)(these make great
mandatory MC for the Kommenan list) or I will paint up a unit of your
choice in either scale. My main interest here is to promote Warrior
at a Con that at one time boasted at least 34 participants in TOG. I
would very much like to see that return to it's former glory with
Warrior as the flagship event. But that will not happen unless we,
the players of Warrior, step up to the plate and deliver by making
our presence known. Can either of you help out with some kind of
Feudal army in this endeavor? Condotta/Knights of Saint John or some
other medieval/asian force? If you cannot, I understand. This is
short notice. It just seems like a great opportunity to promote the
best set of ancients & medieval rules at what has in the past been a
decent convention site. Waiting for your reply with "positive waves!"
(Donald Sutherland from Kelly's Heroes--"Moriarty, what's with all
those Negative waves, baby!")

Great opportunity to show support for the hobby in a practical way!
We are bringing 4 armies from Augusta for folks to borrow and Jamie
Gentry is bringing a load of Scots. So, we are all doing our part to
help out.
Right now it looks like 8 players if Kelly and Steven make it -- but
we are having real trouble getting together armies for them because we
just don't have a lot of medieval stuff. Of the 8 possibles, 4 are
new players.
That is the practical side of building the hobby that I've politicized
on other forums -- the side that we give lip service to, but no
practical support.
As I say, a great chance to show support for the hobby in a practical
way.

I understand completely, jon. Thanks for offering your support in 15mm though.
Your willingness to help is always appreciated.
