I maximized the calvary to get as many RA cav units as possible so I could
test drive the experimental rules at the tournament where all RA cav were given
the Companion special rules, JLS cav fought rank and a half like lancer cav,
and EHC with Bow could skirmish. Bursting through, rallying from disorder at
the end of approaches, skirmishing, and countering whenever the unit felt like
it were fun but not big advantages. Letting RA cav go impetuous whenever the
mood struck was big change, the RA EHC just wandered around the table out
maneuvering everything then struck what ever it wanted, except SHK frontally.
Couldn't beat the EHK frontally but didn't get routed, which was good enough.
Kept the army in two nine unit commands for all three games and drew Berber,
First Crusade, and Inca. None of the other lists had enough LC to drive off
my LC and I managed to overwhelm the Berber LC by supporting with the HC.
First Crusade I went around both flanks and drew the knights out. They
eventaully
went down but not before running over my javelin armed HC. Inca was a nerve
wracking army to face at first but the initial wavers for being charged in the
open were unkind to my opponent who promptly shook.
