Silly Dismounting Rules Question

Maybe this is obvious, but I don't see it in the rules.

When dismounting, the resulting infantry elements will end up armed
the same as the cavalry elements they derive from?

If so, once L-armed HC or SHK dismount, they are then still armed with
lances? Do they charge and fight with the lance combat factors? Do
they then fight in the first round of HTH with lance in one and one
half ranks?

The rule you are looking for is 2.33. If they are equipped/dismount with with
another hand to hand weapon beyond those listed there, that will be made clear
in the list.
