Always good to periodically refresh the memory....

I read every post here unless you are the one person whose mail I block. But if
you want a rules question answered - it is best to have RULES in the subject
line and nothing else but the question(s) in the mail. I may miss and won't be
responsible for 'buried questions'.
Picture diagrams will generally get a faster response than ascii... if I need
time to carefully answer, I will take it - it does not mean I am blowing you
off. I have one outstanding question about swiss pikes that i want to confer
with Scott on.

I don't talk about other companies' games or other companies' lists here. You
guys can all you like as long as no one attacks another company's products.

One of the things we can't routinely get involved in is a discussion of 'why'.
The list notes will generally have to suffice. We retain the right to get into
a 'why' discussion on a case-by-case basis. Past dead horses and people's pet
issues they can't let go of will never be one of those cases....

We have a number of means to do market research, one of which is the yahoo group
poll. It is NOT the only decision-making tool, but you may want to routinely
check the poll section and vote - the more votes the better the answer.

When you have a list question, Scott compiles it to his errata working file and
then the answer comes out (or not, if no change is required) as list errata. He
will *try* and get the answer back out here onto the group as soon as possible
as well, but you will not be able to get list questions answered as fast as you
get rules questions answered. If all your question about a list is 'why'
something is - see above...

Don't forget that the current rules are the rule book and both the Feb 05
clarifications and Warrior1214 which are in the files section.

Thanks for your support. We have 575 members here today and growing faster than
we ever have.

Jon
