Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Ok, a lot has been talked about how to kill elephants and which armies are
better at dealing with them when faced with them, etc., however my question
is this:

Who uses elephants and how have you used them MOST successfully? I have a
2nd Punic War Carthaginian army set up for DBM that I will add subtract
to/from when Classical Warrior comes out. I have yet to use elephants in
Warrior and I am looking for subjective insights as to how to get the most
bang for my buck.
