				| Jon,

Another question ( may be too tired to find it):

Unit red1 charges blue1 at the halt ( say...his knights charging my
 peltasts from 160 paces )

Unit blue2 charges red2 (say...my HI bowmen charge against his light
 infantry)

Events are taking place side by side, the second combat slightly in
 front of the first.

Peltasts must stand, the light infantry chose to run away.

The end result is that the HI bowmen are angled slightly behind the
flank of the knights attacking their peltasts, the light infantry
having evaded through their lines to their rear.

The sticky part...the bowmen are allowed to fire from the rear rank
in a support shot in a charge regardless if they make contact or not,
but against what targets? The way the situation developed they seem
eligible to shoot at the knights in the flank, being behind the final
flank of the chargers - I couldn't find anything that says you can
only support shoot in a charge the target of that charge or that the
third party must be stationary. Especially if there's no target once
the evader completes its move to the rear?

I had always assumed you couldn't, but the great thing about playing
someone new is that they make you re-evaluate your assumptions.

Given that I understand the situation correctly, the HI bowmen may shoot in
 support at the knights.

<<- I couldn't find anything that says you can only support shoot in a charge

You are correct - that is not in the rules.

				| Jon,

I assume the normal shooting priorities would take effect, i.e. had
those HI bowmen chased off LC,B , then they would take precedence?
