My favorite Gaul story is watching my 12 man IrrgA LMI
J/sh charge impetuously under rush orders into a 48
man supported steady HI P unit uphill and vaporize on
impact.

My favorite battle tail is when my heavy boltshooters
on my scratch built Trireme shot Joe Sarafinis Ottoman
Spahis 2 CPF from exhaustion. And I quote "Can he do
that?" Damour (umps response) "looks like he just
did." :)

That's what I miss about this game, comraderie :^D

BTW, I also remember when everyone discovered the Han
Rg B LHI B/2hct. First time I saw them come out of
skirmish and run down some just shot up LMI J/sh was
fantastic! I think it was Derek Downs playing Han
against the list Ho back when we were in the basement
gaming area days at Lancaster Host.

My best war tail has to be when my two units of IRR A charged uphill into 4
Triarii cohorts halted on higher ground (total -4). When the dust settled,
we had taken the hill and saw that the Triarii had routed along with many
others including a mobile artillery platform.

Like Hamburger hill though, the battle won that day did not win us the war.
