I'll get to the other question, but you can't shoot from testudo.

Hello Jon ...
You might want to include in the area for Testudo, how the formation would
prep shoot. It is basically implied, but not clearly stated like all the
other formations.
Second, is the gap issue. This is one of those "questions to Phil" where you
ask him, "Did you really mean this?" (haha)
Do you really measure from each and every part of one shoulder (body or
other) to each and every part of the other shoulder, not just from the
closest part (body)? I wish I could draw diagrams on emails, but I can't, so
I will do my best.
Unit A & B are both 16 figure REG LMI JLS Sh in good order and not in
contact. Both units are two stands wide and two stands deep. They are at
prefect right angles to each other, with a 40p gap between the rear elements
corner measured at an angle. The distance from the front elements corner is
less that two elements. So, the flanks of both units are protected, right,
because there is an imaginary line of less that two elements length that
can't be crossed between the front corners of each unit?
I know this is a silly question. The way you have the rule written is quite
clear, and if I had your diagrams, I'm sure it would be even more clear. I
guess I'm just seeing some unbelievable slime when you combine this rule
with "what fits" in the charge area, and I wanted to be sure it meant what
it says.
Thanks ... Greg
P.S. I honestly have not forgotten your logo. I have just been slammed
lately and haven't gotten on the Macintosh in days. I will work on it Friday
and over the weekend and have it for you early next.
P.P.S. The game played great at our tournament last weekend. We had several
brand new players, including a teenager, and it seemed like new guys
understood the rules. Heck, the teenager actually won a game at his first
tournament! Put THAT in your marketing material for Warrior!!!!
