We had only considered the use of a Game Clock, not because of counting of
scouting factors, but because of the approach turns that come close to
hitting the hour mark. We've all been guilty of it where you are catching
up on the recent events, the next thing you know, everyone is talking with
eachother and the approach move hits the hour mark. Then you wonder why
your 1600 point games take 6 hours.
It is amplified even more when you play partners and 6400 to 8000 points are
on the table.
Besides, we've found that 3 hours into a game is the wrong time to use
sarcasm and remarking on the marital practices of the opposing generals.
~nudge nudge~.
Interestingly enough though, calling the opposition a 'pansy' and 'wee-lass'
in your best Scottish accent while commanding the Scots yourselves is
perfectly acceptable.
