Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

I liked that post about CB versus LB too ...
reminded me of my days with WRG VI (yeah, I know, dates me
... but I still have a copy of Iv and v floating around here
too *v*)... when I took a purely Alexandrian army ...
complete with old style hoplites, into a tourney. Everybody
dissed it (besides, I'm a lousy painter too <sigh>), and
were shocked to see me last three rounds in a single
elimination style tournament .... but then again, I believe
that another poster on this list also talked about the
advantage of knowing how to use troop types together, and
thinking back on it, I did what that poster advises ... used
the light troops to make my foe reveal his deployment plan
and only then advanced the pike/spear blocks to hit
preferred targets.
I like the good information on this list ...
