Fellow Warriors
This is an update on all the goings on here in Warrior-land. It has
been quiet on the group, but that definitely does not mean nothing is
happening...lol
Holy Warrior: At the printers, still looks good for availability at
Fall In. You can now preorder at the sales link on the FHE website.
Website: Recently updated: Holy Warrior sales link. Master list of
army lists updated with dates of HW armies. Events link updated with
info on Fall In and Border Wars. The page has info on how to get
your event posted.
Campaign Warrior: Draft rules will be done in the next two weeks. At
that point I will issue a call for playtesters.
Warrior Clinic: I have submitted the first Warrior Clinic article to
Spearpoint. 'Might' make it into the very next issue, but not sure
yet. In any case, should be at least one Warrior article in every
issue of Spearpoint from the point this one gets published on. The
subject of clinic #1 is building an army list. I will be happy to
take your ideas for future clinics. These should be things where
you'd like some aspect of Warrior rules or play explained in depth.
I know I could just stick this article in the files section and have
it be immediately available, but I am not going to do that until
after the NASAMW leadership has decided fully what to do about
Spearpoint. Personally, I don't know why we'd still be doing a paper
mag in 2002, but I want to support their decision-making process.
Warrior 30mm: I am writing an article on how to use your WAB 28/30mm
armies in Warrior.
Fantasy Warrior: Playtest continues with my local group of ten
dedicated players. We all REALLY enjoy playing this game to the
point where many very nice looking 15mm fantasy armies are getting
done. We continue to recruit new players into the system with this
game. Now if my non-Kansas playtesters would just get back to
work....lol
Fifth Horseman: I am working on a proposal for review by my fellow
horsemen for a program that supports and rewards volunteers for
putting on local events and recruiting new players. I'll take
suggestions. Kurt, I still have all your, don't worry.. :)
Ok, that should be enough to whet your appetite. Roll up and win!
Jon
