Dude,
Where is your ingenuity? Where is your support for the hobby? Don't bail out
so soon. Don't you know someone who might loan you an army? There are extra
25mm armies in the DFW area, maybe someone will loan you one. I don't know for
sure, but don't just pitch it in because its not in your scale.

Sorry Harlan the Burmese belong to jwilkinson. I do not own any
25mm anything. . .
Thanks Chris for the encouragement. Although 25mm looks
cool on the tabletop, it still looks more like a big skirmish game.
I like the way 15mm looks on the battlefield. Although, I have
been eyeing some 10mm ancient armies. Now that really looks
great on a tabletop. Looks more like a battlefield.
I also have a very hard time with the cost value. I had the chance
to go to UK in the late eighties and bought two armies excatly
alike. I purchased a Alex. Imperial army in both 15mm and
25mm. One from QT miniatures and the other from Kontos
miniatures. The 15mm army cost me $56. The 25mm army cost
me $286. When I looked at the painting and basing time
involved, well, needless to say I sold the 25mm army : ) That
was back in the eighties when 25mm figs were not so costly.
Now it is what, about $2-$4 per infantry unpainted and that is for
the new 25mm figs that are about 28-33mm. Yes, I know 15s
are really now 17-18mm but they are still less expensive than
25s.
So, I really do appreciate your concern about me not having a
25mm army and could get me a loaner. I just have to be a pain
in the rear and keep faithful to my scale, [Like it ever did anyting
for me] :-)
cheers
