There will be a Warrior tournament at Nashcon, 25-27 May. The convention
organizers have arranged for us to get 8'x6' tables so we will be playing
with 1600 points in 25mm scale. Each round will be 3.5 hours and we plan to
have them on Saturday at 9 AM, 2 PM and 7 PM. However, the first round will
be split with anyone wanting to play Friday night instead of Saturday morning
being able to. Please let me know if you need a Friday night game. The
current draft, as of 15 May, will be used in this event. If anyone needs a
25mm army to play let me know. I have some loaners available.

Guys,

I am up for it. Please let me know what format we will be doing (25 or
15). I am scheduled to be at Camp Shelby MS for the week prior so I need to
pach the correct scale.

Scott, I have three people and Larry Essick ready to play Warrior at
Nashcon. I've e-mailed them and they don't know of anyone planning to play
Warrior there next weekend. They suggected that I go to yahoo.groups but I
only have web access at work and am blocked. Do you have any Warrior
players e-mail addresses in Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee or Carolina - like
Jamie Gentry- who we can scare up for Nashcon. Greg Croyle

I usta make the pilgrimage each year with Jake Kovel. It's a great con although
it really has fallen off in recent years. Interesting as it may seem, I was
getting nostalgic last night and pulled out some very old spearpoints. I noticed
a report from you, Scott that reported 34 guys playing in the WRG tournament. We
certainly have fallen on hard times.
I will think I'll bring it up with some of my buds around here and see if anyone
is interested in traveling. If I come, I will try to bring something in the way
of a next to last place prize!

I am already working on getting us some space at Nashcon. I'm looking
at running a couple of scenario games in 25mm for 4-8 players.

I don't have word back yet from the Nashcon staff on availability of
table space, but did notice that there seem to be several time slots
where not all of the tables are in use.

If there is enough space I will try to organize a fast warrior
tournament. I think space might be too limited for more than that.
BUT, I still am waiting on the Nashcon guys to give me the info -- so
we will see what we can put together.

Larry,

I don't think driving for 10 hours and a hotel for the weekend would be
justifiable just to play Fast warrior. 12-1600 points maybe. . . .

Alright guys,

I heard back from the convention organizers and there is space for us
to do something. Sorry Kelly, but I still do not know how much space
or what exactly. I'm hoping to clear that all up by the end of this
week.

I know, not much planning time.

I've indicated that we are open to just about anything, depending on
space. If I get enough table space for a long enough time then I will
try to run a small tournament.

We are looking only at 25mm and right now there are 6 people planning
to show.

If space does not allow a tournament then we are planning a series of
related scenario games.

In any case, I'll provide an update when I know what we have for
tables and the time slots we have available.

Next year we'll try to plan ahead of time. :-)

Larry
