First, I got what I considered to be a snide email from an elected NASAMW
official this morning. Here's how part of it reads:
"I know no one really plays this any more , but ... has anyone been
able to track down the Warrior NICT results yet?"
I'll let everybody figure out who this is but I bet all you need to do is see
who the new elected officials are and you'll figure out who said it. Perhaps
I'm overreacting, he did put a smiley face in there but somehow I think not.
But I digress:) I am still trying to figure out some of the details for
Warrior at Hcon. The regular 1600 point tourney will be 25mm with one round Fri
evening, another round Sat morning, and another round Sat afternoon. I'd like
to bracket that with two Fast Warrior tourneys, one "thematic" in nature (armies
from Holy Warrior) in 15mm and another in 25mm that's totally open.
Any thoughts or comments? I need to get the info into the HMGS folks sometime
next week.
Thanks
Scott

Well, Scott, since the entire current NASAMW EC are Warrior guys but one...lol
Ddi you mean Fall In vice HCon in your mail? I think you might want to resend
as the subject line says FI and the times look like FI times not HCon times.

>I meant Fall In only. I didn't think I referenced Hcon in there
anywhere.
>Lemme reiterate, I'm looking to kick off Fall In at noon on Friday with
a FW tourney (it can be either the two proposed events), then we start
round one of the 1600 point open at 7pm Friday night, round 2 Sat 9am,
round 3 Sat 2pm. We then kick off the other FW tourney Sat evening at
7pm. I'm looking at 1.5 hour rounds for the FW tourneys. If there is
enough local support (or if I drive back), I could do preset terrain for
FW in order to speed up the games.

I like the schedule. I think we should start with the theme FW and then do the
open after the big show. Of course, I can't make it so my vote doesn't count
that much.

Scott,
Did you get an answer for the sportsman award at Historicon?
